My doula services include a prenatal visit(s) where we talk about the birth you are wanting, questions, concerns, and any childbirth education classes (add on or comes with God package). I will be on call for you starting at 38 weeks and offer continuous support until delivery.

During labor I will offer comfort measures such as massage, tens unit, hip squeezes, and emotional support. I will also help you communicate with your care provider, suggest positions that may increase your comfort and facilitate labor. As a birth doula I do not take the place of your partner in the delivery room, instead I work alongside them to provide the best birth team for you. The process of labor and delivery can actually bring couples closer together and be a shared intimate experience you will never forget. After your baby arrives, I will help with latching (if planning to breastfeed) and bonding.
